PADI Divemaster Training
The PADI Divemaster program is an all encompassing apprenticeship course culminating in a certification as a PADI diving professional. The PADI divemaster course is a professional program conducted in a relaxed and social manner. It is the perfect option for people who want to take their diving skills and experience to the next level.
- Duration: 4- 8 weeks
- Entry level: PADI Rescue Diver or Equivalent
- 18 years old
- At least 40 logged dives, we can get you to this number free with our DM package.
- 1st Aid & CPR certification within 24 months
- Medical Assessment within 12 months prior to the course
As a certified PADI Divemaster you’ll be able to:
Act as certified instructional assistant to PADI Instructors.
Supervise participants in PADI experience programs.
Generally supervise both training and non-training related diving activities by planning, organizing and directing dives.
Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers.
Conduct the PADI Re-activate program for certified divers.
After completing the corresponding instructor training, conduct the digital underwater photography courses under the direction of a PADI instructor and emergency O2 provider courses.
The training and experience you gain through the PADI Divemaster program helps shape your abilities and attitude toward becoming a professional level diving educator. As such, many Sail Rock Divers PADI Divemasters go on to become PADI Instructors.

Watermanship skills & stamina
400m continuous swim
15 minutes treading water
800m continuous snorkel – using only masks fins snorkel
100m tired diver tow
Skill circuit - 24 open water diver skills to demonstration level
